It was so hard, but cutting simple sugars out of my diet was the best thing I ever did! There are so many natural sweet treats that our bodies love and can use! Believe me, a good piece of dark chocolate every once in a while is necessary. But, all in all, I have less craving for the bad stuff since I left them behind. 💛 Katie

Before: 200 (though I think I was around 190 in the second picture)

I’ve submitted before, but I’m submitting again because getting out of the 140’s was SO difficult for me. I was stuck in the 140’s for probably 7 or 8 months. I’m still not 100% happy with my body, but I feel so much better. My life was pretty much in shambles back then (as you may be able to tell from the very messy room), but as I lost weight, things gradually became much better for me and I’ve never been happier. I lost those 64 pounds in two years by eating less, eating healthier, and living a more active life (not sitting all day, but walking to class, running errands, etc.). It’s been a bit of a struggle being in college, but now I really want to firm up and gain some strength. So, I’ve decided to start doing cardio for 30 minutes per day, 3 days a week, as well as do Pilates twice a week. Hopefully with these changes I will finally get down to 125!
